Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Confined spaces. Dusty. Noisy. Outdoors. Wet/damp. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Instruct apprentices. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units. Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing. Caulk decks and hulls. Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures. Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Suspended access equipment training. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts. Power tools. Hand tools. Cleaning experience: Brick and stone building exteriors. Area of specialization: Construction. Steeplejack. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods.
