Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment. Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications. Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment. Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal. Determine weldability of materials. Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .- LocationBrampton, ONL6W 1L3
