Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Occupational safety and health technology/technician. Work setting: Manufacturing and industrial plant. Tasks: Evaluate daily operations . Motivate staff. Plan and organize daily operations. Provide information/training to employers, employees and general public. Review HR directives to assure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations . Train staff. Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards. Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses. Manage training and development strategies. Oversee the analysis of employee data and information.
