Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Office. On-site customer service. Rural area. Various locations. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation. Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements. Assist in design, development and testing. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components. Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports. Project management. Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications. Design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Certified Engineering Technologist (CET). CADD Course. Computer and technology knowledge: Project management software. Computer-aided design (CAD). AutoCAD. MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS Word. MS Office. Area of work experience: Specification or technical writing. Project planning. Area of specialization: Design. Electrical.
