Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dangerous. Tasks: Direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns. Hire, supervise and schedule staff. Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns. Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property. Schedule events, programs and activities. Plan and direct grounds maintenance. Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work. Maintain work records and logs. Read blueprints and drawings. Repair and maintain equipment. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervision: 3-4 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Pick-up truck. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Large workload. Screening questions: Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
