Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers. Maintain adequate stock levels. Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers. Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase. Select and purchase merchandise for resale. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Organized. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?.
