Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Tasks: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Dust furniture. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Make beds and change sheets. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Launder clothing and household linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Shop for food and household supplies. Wash windows, walls and ceilings. Clean changing rooms and showers. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
