Our poultry plant is growing and need to add additional Millwrights to join our *Morning / Graveyard team*. Rossdown is a challenging but has a warm family environment. Apply through the system and the HR will reach out to you. *A day in the life:* * Perform care and service to the manufacturing equipment in satisfactory operating condition * Inspect, detect and correct of incipient failures either before they occur or develop * Follow and consistently work with guidelines from time to time to prevent equipment and machinery breakdown * Follow schedules and perform refrigeration checks, daily task lists and broiler checks * Perform minor electrical repairs and possess the knowledge to trouble shoot these areas *What you need to apply!* * Redseal Millwright Ticket * Power Engineer background an asset. * Familiar with pumps, motors, VFD?s and PLC?s * Proven ability to weld Stainless TIG / Stick * High degree of accuracy and attention to detail * Weekend availability for equipment expansion and/or plant shut downs * Self-responsible with the ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure * Self-motivated to work alone, * Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise * One year related manufacturing (processing) experience would be an asset *Company Benefits!* * Great deals on fresh and organic chicken * Steel toed boots reimbursements * Pension plan company contribution pan * Employee assistance plan Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $42.90 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Company pension * Dental care * Disability insurance * Discounted or free food * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * RRSP match * Tuition reimbursement * Vision care Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
