Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Civil engineering, general. Surveying technology/surveying. Work site environment: Outdoors. Heavy equipment. All weather conditions. Tasks: Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, charts and plans. Keep records, measurements and other survey information in systematic order. Assist survey engineers or professional surveyors to develop methods and procedures for conducting field surveys. Conduct field surveys and operate survey instruments and computer equipment to measure distance, angles, elevations and contours. Record measurements and other information obtained during field survey activities. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
