Reporting to the *Director,* you will be responsible for overseeing structural steel projects from estimation and sales through to final delivery. This includes managing schedules, controlling job costs, coordinating with drafting and shop teams, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. *Responsibilities:*
_*Project Planning & Coordination*_
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
* Coordinate with estimators, drafters, fabricators, engineers, and field crews to align project objectives.
* Participate in pre-construction meetings, project kickoff meetings, and design review processes.
_*Project Execution*_
* Oversee and manage all aspects of structural steel projects including procurement, fabrication, delivery, and erection.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and contract requirements.
* Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
_*Budget & Cost Management*_
* Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report financial performance to senior management.
* Approve purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor payments.
* Control project costs while maximizing profitability and efficiency.
_*Quality & Safety*_
* Ensure adherence to safety standards, OSHA regulations, and internal safety policies.
* Conduct or oversee regular quality inspections and ensure compliance with structural codes and quality requirements.
* Address and resolve safety or quality issues promptly.
_*Communication & Reporting*_
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, engineers, and vendors.
* Provide regular project updates, reports, and status meetings to internal stakeholders and clients.
* Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation.
_*Team Leadership*_
* Manage and mentor project coordinators, field supervisors, and subcontractors.
* Foster a collaborative and productive project team environment.
*Work Environment:*
* Office and field-based work; must be willing to travel to job sites as required.
* Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be necessary depending on project timelines.
*Requirements/Qualifications:*
_*Education & Experience*_
* Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field (preferred).
* 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on structural steel.
* Prior experience working with CWB standards, fabrication processes, and erection practices.
_*Skills & Competencies*_
* Strong understanding of structural drawings, fabrication details, and steel erection sequences.
* Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and specifications.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

* PMP (Project Management Professional)
* OSHA 30-hour Construction Certification
* CWB Certification familiarity
