Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Tasks: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel cross-border. Willing to travel for extended periods. Willing to travel internationally. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Sitting. Personal suitability: Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
