Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Livestock combination farming. Tasks: Develop specific plans to prioritize. Handling animals. Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Oversee the activities of clearing the fields. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Maintain financial and production records. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 3-4 people. 11-15 people. 5-10 people.
