A sleep technologist performs clinical overnight sleep studies to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. It involves direct patient contact requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills to address patient questions and needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting, collecting and analyzing patient sleep data; as well as performing equipment set up, calibration and maintenance.

The position involves 10 hours overnight shifts during the week and weekends.
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive sleep studies, including polysomnography, to monitor patients' sleep patterns and physiological data.
* Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures, attaching electrodes, and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
* Monitor patients during sleep studies, recording data accurately and responding to any patient needs or emergencies.
* Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
*Qualifications*
* Certification as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) is preferred.
* Post-secondary education
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in any sleep lab is required
Knowledge of scoring studies and operating Alice G3 sleep software are an asset
Ability to work independently in a time efficient manner according to set protocols and policies
Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
