*About the Role:*
The *Outside Sales Representative* will be responsible for driving business development and sales growth specifically in the Edmonton region, with secondary support in British Columbia as needed. The primary goal is to expand Old Yale Brewing Co.?s footprint by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, promoting our products, and achieving sales targets in the Edmontonmarket. This role requires a deep understanding of Edmonton?scraft beer market, customer preferences, and sales opportunities. They will be the champion of Old Yale Brewing Co. sales model and will keep their region?s activities running smoothly.
The Outside Sales Representative will report to the Key Accounts Manager and alternatively the Managing Partner from time to time.

*Responsibilities:*
+ Build and nurture lasting relationships with new and existing customers in Edmonton, tailoring efforts to the unique needs of this market.
+ Travel extensively within the assigned regions to meet new and existing customers, host tastings, and conduct product demonstrations.
+ Exceed sales targets by effectively promoting Old Yale Brewing Co. products and introducing them to new accounts in Edmonton.
+ Develop and implement Alberta-specific sales strategies to drive growth in the craft beer market.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of liquor regulations and distribution networks, ensuring compliance.
+ Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to expand brand presence specifically in the Edmontonregion.
+ Work closely with liquor stores, restaurants, and bars to ensure high visibility of Old Yale Brewing Co. products.
+ Initiate grassroots sales techniques by scheduling appointments/drop-by to potential customers, making initial presentations and understanding account requirements/needs of potential customers.
+ Conduct territory analysis and provide detailed reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends in Edmonton.
+ Adjust presentation style to meet the needs of diverse customer profiles in the Edmontonmarket.
+ Represent Old Yale Brewing Co. at events, festivals, community events, and industry conferences to increase brand exposure.
+ Set up store displays to support merchandising initiatives and enhance product visibility.
+ Maintain organized and accurate records of leads, customer accounts and sales activities.
+ Regularly update management on sales activities through detailed and timely reports, including call logs, work plans, and territory analyses.
+ Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, and handling warehouse and delivery duties as required.
+ Roll up your sleeves and take a proactive approach to meeting the needs of the business, including other duties within the same scope.
*Qualifications:*
+ Proven sales or customer service-related experience.
+ A post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
+ Proven track record in sales generation and managing the achievement of sales results; or similar relevant experience.
+ Strong understanding of Alberta?s liquor sales landscape, including AGLC regulations, distribution channels, and craft beer trends is a strong asset.
+ Leadership and strategic thinking skills with the ability to attract new business, develop and grow the customer base through identifying new opportunities.
