We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator in the Deer Lake, NL and Stephenville Area. You will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to complete construction, excavation, and other related tasks.
*Responsibilities:*
- Operate excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, and other heavy equipment to perform various tasks
- Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is operated in a safe manner
- Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
*Requirements:*
- Valid Class 8 License
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, loaders, etc.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues a bonus
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
