Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Urban area. Industrial plant. Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Instruct apprentices. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Personal protective equipment (PPE) training. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Forklift Operator Certification. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Grinding machine. Drills. Small front end loaders. Forklift. Hand tools. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
