*JOB DESCRIPTION*
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative will handle customer-initiated calls seeking company supplied products. The Inside Sales Representative will resolve customer questions, offer solutions, and generate new business with existing customers by using upselling tactics that ensure a great customer experience. As this individual gains more experience, there is an opportunity to expand to Outside Sales if interested.
*WHAT WILL YOU DO?*
* Handle inbound customer requests for pricing and availability.
* Create positive customer relations to encourage repeat business and long term relationships.
* Enter quotas and invoices into the company?s invoicing system.
* Prepare and supply customers with freight quotes and invoices.
* Follow-up with customer quotes seeking closure of sales.
* Make outbound call to previous customers to generate new leads and identify areas for improvement.
* Complete follow-up sales calls after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
* Utilize extensive product knowledge gained to understand customer needs and requirements to help solve their problems.
* Collaborate with the sales team to identify growth opportunities.
*WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED?*
* 3-5 years or related sales experience.
* Diploma or Degree in Commerce preferred.
* Ability to multi-task and proficiently use multiple technological systems simultaneously.
* Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to create relationships and build rapport with vendors and customers.
* Ability to pay attention to details and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office with aptitude to learn new systems.
* Passion to learn and develop new skills to improve performance over time.
* Self-motivated with the drive to meet and exceed your sales goals.
* Outgoing and comfortable interacting with different types of people, strong client service orientation.
