Law Firm located in Avenue/Bloor area with comprehensive offering of legal services in Family Law has an opening for an experienced Family Law Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a preferred minimum of 3 years of experience and knowledge of Family Law Rules, Court procedures, MS Office and DivorceMate;
*Qualifications, Competencies & Skills of Legal Assistant:*
* Post-Secondary diploma or certificate in the Legal field; University degree is an asset.
* Detail-oriented and superior organization skills are essential.
* Utilize Microsoft Office for calendarizing, correspondence, and communication with clients and colleagues.
* Strong phone etiquette while handling client inquiries and scheduling appointments.
* Strong time management skills to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and anticipate needs, adjust to changing priorities and handle tasks in a timely manner.
* Personable, professional demeanor and diligent work ethic.
* Strong interpersonal skills, along with diplomacy and professionalism.
* Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment is essential.
