*Job Summary*
Tabule is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, drive profitability, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a passion for hospitality, strong financial acumen, and the ability to cultivate a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
· Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management.
· Ensure outstanding guest experiences by maintaining high service and quality standards.
· Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.
· Lead, train, and motivate a team to foster a positive workplace culture.
· Manage all aspects of staff operations, including recruitment, scheduling, onboarding, performance management, training, conflict resolution, and offboarding.
· Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and control costs.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
· Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
· Drive marketing initiatives and community engagement to boost brand presence.
*Qualifications and Skills*
· Minimum 3-5 years in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-volume setting.
· Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field is an asset.
· Smart Serve certification required; First Aid and Food Handler certification are assets.
· Proven leadership and team management skills.
· Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
· Additional beverage training, such as wine certification or mixology courses, is considered an asset.
· Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Toast, is considered an asset.
