<p><strong>Assignment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position</li> <li>Course load to include: <ul> <li>Mechanics 10, 20, and 30 </li> <li>Construction 10, 20, and 30 </li> <li>Junior High Ctf options</li><li>Mathematics 10-3</li> <li>Other courses possible, defendant on the successful candidate's strengths and qualifications</li> <li> Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><ul></ul><p><br><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p><strong></strong></p> <p></p> <ul> <li>Journeyman Mechanic or Carpenter</li> <li>Experience teaching in relevant courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset</li> <li>Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies and to differentiate in order to meet a wide range of individual needs <br><br> </li> <li>Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills</li> <li>Willingness to work in an active, team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member</li> <li>Ability to teach in a flexible learning environment </li> <li>Passionate about teaching and ensuring belief in every student </li> <li>Ability to effectively integrate technology and an understanding of 21st Century Learning Skills</li> <li>Assessment literate</li> <li>An understanding of High School Redesign Principals, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset <br><br> </li> <li>Strong planning and organizational skills</li> <li>Effective classroom management</li> <li>Commitment to ongoing professional growth</li> </ul> <p><br><br></p> <p><strong></strong></p> <div> </div> <p><strong>Please Note: </strong>We appreciate the interest of all applicants, but advise that only candidates selected for an interview for this competition will be contacted. </p>- LocationPonoka, AB
