Art Engineering Inc. (AEI) is currently seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Ottawa, Ontario. The successful candidate will fulfill support the duties and responsibilities described below, while being supported to advance in their own professional career. *Primary Responsibilities:*
* Complete structural analyses, calculations, and designs for a variety of projects
* Prepare structural drawings and technical reports for projects, while peer reviewing the work of fellow team members
* Conduct site inspections and field reviews
* Manage communications with contactors, clients, subconsultants, and internal teams throughout projects while strengthening professional relationships
* Manage projects to ensure schedule milestones and budget constraints are met
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* 4 years of relevant experience in Ontario
* Knowledge and understanding of relevant local standards and codes (OBC, NBCC, MTO Manuals, etc.)
* Moderate level of proficiency in AutoCAD
* High level of proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
* Valid ?G? driver?s license and access to personal vehicle for travel to project sites Professional Engineer Designation (P.Eng) issued by Professional Engineers of Ontario
