Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements as needed
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician in a residential, commercial or industrial setting
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
