We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated and ambitious individual(s) to fulfill the position of Electrician and Apprentice Electrician. This position will require the individual to run underground conduit, pull cables of various sizes, terminate and test those cables.
*Responsibilities*
* Various construction tasks.
* Adhere to site specific safety
* Run large conduit underground
* Pull cables, ranging from Fiber cables to 1000kcmill
* Maintain, relocate and organize material and equipment
* Terminate cables
* Work in a safe manner
* Maintain clean worksite through good housekeeping practices
* Bring forth any safety concerns or hazards to Supervisor or Foreman
*Requirements*
* Possess a valid Ontario Driver's license
* Must be a red seal registered apprentice or journeyman electrician
* Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
* Must be a team player
* High School diploma
* Positive Attitude
* Punctual
* Must be able to work minimum 44 hours a week Monday ? Friday
* Must be flexible to work longer days of 10-12 hours if requested by the foreman on short notice
* Must be flexible to work Saturdays &/or Sundays if requested by the foreman on short notice
