*JOB DESCRIPTION: *
To be able to assist the Chef in Daily Operations and Functions On site as well as keep a safe and Clean Environment.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Assist with the daily operations in the banquet/food outlet kitchens
* Food prep for all types of functions
* Maintain sanitation at all times
* Prepare foods according to the menus and contracts
* Assist Chef with receiving androtating stock
* Ensuring supplies are available
* Maintain a clean and organized work space at all times
* Responsible for clean-up duties at end of shift
* Maintaining all Kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.
* Preparing recipes as directed.
* Must take direction well.
* Cleanliness of kitchen and walk in
* Responsible for setting a good example and ensuring staff abides by safety, sanitation standards and practices,
*EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:*
* 3 years experience in kitchens is a great asset
*QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:*
* Must be available for all shifts including evenings, weekends
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs
* Proper knife skills
* Knowledge of kitchen equipment and functions
* Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements
*WORKING CONDITIONS: *
* To be able to work long hours while on your feet in a hot humid environment
* To be able to work in a fast paced and efficient Manor
* Must have the ability to remain calm in high stress situations
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
