*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Deck builder to construct decks, patios, and other outdoor wooden structures, ensuring they are built to meet safety standards and client specifications. This role requires at least 1 year hands-on experience with various building materials and tools, as well as a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. *Duties* * Construct and assemble deck structures using wood, drywall, and other materials according to specifications. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. * Operate heavy equipment safely as needed for construction tasks. * Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations. *Requirements* * Training for working at heights is an advantage. * Proven related experience is essential. * Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is required. * Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. * Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively. * Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members. * A commitment to safety practices on the job site. * Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.60-$30.45 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationToronto, ON
