* Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications
* Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as MIG, TIG and Flux-Core
* Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
* Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
* Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers
* Welders may specialize in certain types of welding such as custom fabrication, pressure vessel welding, pipeline construction welding or machinery and equipment repair welding
* Previous fitting experience
*Specialized Skill Required:*
* Experience in pressure vessel and TIG (aluminum and stainless steel)
* Pipe fitting/welding
* All position Tig Welding
*Work Experience Required:*
* Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in a pressure vessel custom manufacturing shop
*Minimum Education Required:*
* Completion of high school required
