* Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications * Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as MIG, TIG and Flux-Core * Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment * Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines * Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers * Welders may specialize in certain types of welding such as custom fabrication, pressure vessel welding, pipeline construction welding or machinery and equipment repair welding * Previous fitting experience *Specialized Skill Required:* * Experience in pressure vessel and TIG (aluminum and stainless steel) * Pipe fitting/welding * All position Tig Welding *Work Experience Required:* * Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in a pressure vessel custom manufacturing shop *Minimum Education Required:* * Completion of high school required *Benefits/Bonus:* * Annually we give out bonuses if we can based on profit and employees work ethic and time worked * Vacation: 2 weeks after first year, 3 weeks after 5 years * Medical & Dental & Life Insurance after 3 months probationary period Benefits: * Extended health care * Vision care * Disability insurance * On-site parking * Dental care * Life insurance * Company pension Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$33.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company pension * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: * Walkerton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Welding: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationWalkerton, ON
