Fanotech Manufacturing Corp., a Canadian leader in the manufacture of waste handling equipment is GROWING again to meet high volume demands! We are currently hiring for a *Machinist* at our Huntsville Facility. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and a great work ethic to join our team. *Job Overview* The successful candidate will have the ability to: * Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces. * Use precision tools (e.g. calipers). * Take precise measurements and mark material for cutting and shaping for needed parts. * Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues. * Monitor output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects. * Inspect machined parts and tooling in order to maintain quality control standards. * Determine and program size of batches and speed of machine. * Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages. *What we are looking for:* * Outstanding mathematical and analytical skills. * Accuracy and above average attention to detail. * Great verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent manual dexterity. * Dependability. * Practicing a safe and healthy environment by maintaining housekeeping standards and safe work practices. *Experience:* * Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated machines (e.g. lathes, grinder, etc.). 1 year preferred. * Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and understand design instructions 1 year (preferred). * Apprenticeship preferred. *What we offer:* * Top Tier Wages * Annual Boot Allowance * Extended health care * Annual Health Spending Account (HSA) Benefit- Provided by Company * Opportunities for advancement * Overtime Paid @ 40 hours * On-site training * No shift work. * Monday ?
