Activities include planning, coordinating, and monitoring the freight flow from vendors and ports to various warehouses. <br> <br>This role is also responsible to handle all day-to-day tasks assigned by management; this can include (but is not limited to) tracking freight movement, data consolidation/verification/analysis, issue reporting, problem-solving, etc. <br> <br>Key Accountabilities <br> <br>* Ensure the routing of domestic freight from different places in North America to our warehouses. <br>* Find the best quality/price ratio for transporting domestic freight. Maintain an up-to-date database with enough service provider options. <br>* Complete domestic pricing documentation, domestic tenders, and pick-up requests. <br>* Prepare customs paperwork for cross-border shipments of domestic Inbound freight. <br>* Confirm appointment bookings for Inbound freight. E <br>* Mitigate additional charges, and assist with maintaining the accuracy of carrier information. <br>* Escalate issues according to established procedures in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner. <br>* Review Empty Declarations at Dollarama warehouses. <br>* Ensure that appointments are respected, and communicate with those concerned for any delays or changes. <br>* Ensure that systems and databases contain the most up-to-date and accurate information at all times. <br>* Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) <br>* Complete various reports as required</p><p>* College diploma or equivalent work experience <br>* Ability to work under pressure, in a fast pace environment with high volume <br>* Detail-oriented <br>* Solid planning and organizational skills <br>* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills <br>* Good computer knowledge and skills, especially with Excel and Email; SAP an asset <br>* Experience in the retail industry or supply chain logistics is an asset <br>* Bilingual (French and English)</p>
