*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support physiotherapists in delivering high-quality patient care in a hospital or clinical setting. Your contributions will be vital in assisting patients with their rehabilitation and recovery processes, ensuring they receive the best possible care. Foreign trained physiotherapist will be a great fit for this position as well. *Responsibilities* * Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises for patients. * Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is clean and ready for use. * Help patients with mobility and daily activities, providing support as needed during therapy sessions. * Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physiotherapist. * Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress notes as required. * Educate patients on exercises and self-care techniques to promote recovery. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred (foreign experience is accepted) * Familiarity with medical terminology related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation practices. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. * Ability to provide compassionate patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of their needs. * Knowledge of acute care practices is a plus, enhancing your ability to support patients effectively. * Physical stamina to assist patients during therapy sessions and perform necessary tasks throughout the day.
