We are committed to contributing to societal evolution and industrial advancements by adhering to these principles at every phase of our product development and manufacturing processes. *Summary* As a Human Resources Generalist at THK, you will play a critical role in assisting the HR department to meet the operational needs of the organization. *Responsibilities* * Respond to employee questions related to HR policies, procedures, programs and systems * Maintain employee data in HRIS and related systems for the lifecycle of employment - Hires, retirements, terminations, resignations, change of status, employee personal data, title, department, employee training, employee security access and shift schedule updates * Participate in candidate screening, interviewing and selection process for both hourly and salary open positions * Organize and participate in onboarding * Administer benefit for members including enrollment, terminations, status changes and member personal information updates * Administer annual benefit re-enrollment process * Assist supervision on interpretation and administration of HR policies, programs, and the Collective Agreement * Generate reports and advise supervision on absence management and performance management * Participate in workplace investigations if/when needed * Keep up to date on HR related legislation * Stay current on HR trends to assist with ongoing development of best practices * Assist with identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives * Monitor forms used by Human Resources department are controlled in Document & Data Control Program * Lead or collaborate on projects * Support company policies and procedures * Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully and professionally with all levels in the organization * Skilled at troubleshooting, problem solving and conflict resolution skills * Other duties as assigned *Education Requirements* * Completion of post-secondary Human Resources program from an accredited institution * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Demonstrated knowledge of current employment legislation such as, ESA, Labour Relations Act, etc. If you're ready join a Human Resources department dedicated to assisting our operation thrive, we invite you to apply for the Human Resources Generalist position at THK today!
