*Electrical Engineering*
* Perform Electrical engineering with the ability to certify designs and technical specifications per jurisdiction.
*Team Leadership and Management*
* Provide leadership, mentorship, and superior guidance to the team.
* Recruit, onboard, coach, supervise, and evaluate the team?s performance as required.
* Develop and recommend training and development opportunities for team members.
* Promote and apply lessons learned, continuous improvement initiatives, and best practices.
*Engineering Activities and Resources Management*
* Plan, organize, lead, and coordinate all activities, work, resources, and tools necessary to meet VTEK?s objectives.
* Manage engineering activities to meet project KPIs regarding safety, budget, scope, schedule, and quality.
* Ensure the completeness, verification, and timeliness of each engineering work package, regardless of its stage.
*Technical Governance and Compliance*
* Develop, approve, and implement VTEK?s policies, standards, and procedures for the E&I engineering team.
* Identify and resolve technical issues during reviews.
* Propose technical mitigation strategies for any identified risks or issues.
*Stakeholder Coordination*
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an integrated engineering work package.
* Analyze project proposals, assess feasibility, and recommend engineering alternatives when necessary.
* Stay current with and apply the latest design principles, materials, and best practices.
*Business Development and Budgeting Support*
* Support business development with technical expertise, research, estimates, proposals, and presentations.
* Contribute to the development of engineering proposals and budgets for projects.
* Develop resource plans to meet VTEK?s sustainability and growth needs
*Strategic Participation*
* Support other tasks and contribute to VTEK?s strategic planning and management, as requested.
* Review, approve, and stamp E&I work packages as needed.
* Ensure the technical accuracy and robustness of methods applied, in compliance with regulatory requirements and stakeholder needs.
*IDEAL CANDIDATE*
* Degree in engineering (electrical engineering, instrumentation, or equivalent)
* Significant experience in the Oil & Gas sector (10years and more)
* P.Eng certification
* Proficiency in relevant technical software and languages (AutoCAD, PLC programming, SCADA, etc.)
