This position is responsible for the day-to-day functions of a locally owned and managed mixed commercial real estate portfolio. Responding to tenant inquiries and requests and working in conjunction with contractors to support base building capital projects and tenant improvements. *Responsibilities:* · Liaise with Property Management regarding any requests for services or information and ensure issues and concerns are resolved to the tenants satisfaction. · Work in collaboration with Property and Asset Management to develop capital plans. · Conduct regularly inspections, repair, and/or coordinate and supervise the repair and maintenance of any building mechanical, boilers, RTU's and building envelope system. · Ensure preventative maintenance system is implemented, completed and maintained on all base building equipment and systems including boilers, and HVAC systems. · Ensure all systems are operating in an efficient and safe manner and that related safety guidelines set out in provincial Environmental Health and Safety legislation and company policies and procedures are being met. *Service/Personal Skills:* · This position requires an individual with excellent customer service and communication skills. *Experience:* · A minimum of Three (3) years experience working in commercial building operations/maintenance with emphasis on Boilers, Roof Top Units, and BMS systems. · Experience in managing and monitoring contract work is a must. · Able to effectively meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. *Education/Designation/Licenses:* -Journeyman HVAC, refrigeration ticket · Other education and industry designations an asset ( BMS Systems, programming ). *Technical Skills:* · Strong technical knowledge in building systems and repairs. · Must be able to review and interpret architectural, structural, plumbing, and electrical diagrams, and plans and specifications. · Degree of familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety regulations. · Must be able to pass a high level security clearance.
