*Overview* Quality Inn - Owen Sound currently has an opening for a Room Attendant. Our colleagues continue to aim higher and show they care about our guests and each other to ensure we achieve our goal of creating great hotels guests love. *YOUR DAY TO DAY *Clean guest rooms and/or suites in a timely and thorough manner to ensure total guest satisfaction. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate who will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, making it essential for the overall guest experience. *Responsibilities* * Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness. * Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a tidy appearance. * Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and properly arranged. * Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaning supplies. * Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. * Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. * Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens. * Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services preferred; experience in hotel or industrial cleaning is a plus. * Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. * Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving heavy items. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
