We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team in the car industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in car industry and customer service, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high number of sales and customer service, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and customers.
*Duties*
* Oversee new and used vehicle sales operations.
* Collaborate with the sales manager to set pricing strategies, inventory levels, and promotions.
* Ensure sales targets are met and customer retention strategies are effective.
* Set performance goals and benchmarks for all departments (sales, service, parts, finance).
* Develop and implement dealership-wide strategies to increase sales and profitability.
* Prepare and manage budgets, expense controls, and profit/loss statements.
* Hold regular meetings with department heads to assess performance and resolve issues.
* Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain high service standards.
*Requirements*
* *High School Diploma or GED* (minimum)
* *Bachelor?s Degree preferred* ? often in: (Business Administration, Automotive Management, Finance)
* *5?10 years of automotive industry experience*, with at least:
* 2?5 years in *management roles* (e.g., Sales Manager, Service Manager, or Finance Manager)
