*What You?ll Be Doing (Besides Looking Awesome):*
- Handling real estate files from start to finish?conveyancing, mortgages, you name it!
- Being the go-to person for clients, agents, and other lawyers?think of yourself as the friendly neighborhood legal superhero.
- Processing purchase transactions, preparing mortgages, refinancing, and ensuring everyone gets their paperwork on time?no magic wand required!
- Drafting sales transactions, trust letters, and depositing funds to meet those very important closing dates.
- Keeping client files tidy, diarizing deadlines, and reporting like a boss.
*What We?re Looking For (Besides a Sense of Humor): *
- At least three (3) years of real estate paralegal experience?bonus points if you?ve seen it all!
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment?think ?legal ninja? skills.
- Tech-savvy, especially with cloud-based platforms like Cosmolex and/or PC Law.
- An organizational guru with exceptional calendar skills?if you could organize a sock drawer, you?re already halfway there.
- Outstanding communication skills?both written and verbal, because talking to clients professionally is an art.
