*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment on job sites. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, ability to read and interpret blueprints, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects effectively. *Responsibilities* * Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, and loaders to perform tasks including digging, building, and material handling. * Conduct and record pre-operation inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality. * Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues. * Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate work activities and ensure project timelines are met. * Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to minimize risks on the job site. * Assist in the training of new operators as needed, sharing knowledge of equipment operation and safety practices. * May be asked to assist the team with labor duties when required. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, telehandlers, farm machinery, backhoes, and loaders. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. * Ability to dig and build structures according to project specifications. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. * Commitment to safety practices and regulations in all aspects of work. * Valid driver's license may be required depending on job site location.
