*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations for Campbell River RV, Bill Howich Holdings and Rhyan Leasing and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles, enabling them to manage budgeting, payroll, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation effectively. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health of our organization and supporting strategic decision-making.
*Responsibilities*
* Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate compensation for employees.
* Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and cash flow management.
* Conduct account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
* Perform account analysis to identify trends and variances, providing insights for management.
* Implement and maintain accounting software system.
* Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for senior management review.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in accounting or finance.
* Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and payroll systems.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account reconciliation and analysis.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Effective communication skills to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
