*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both industrial and construction projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish on all projects. *Responsibilities* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary. * Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment on various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and structures. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. * Restore surfaces by repairing damages prior to painting. * Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during the painting process. * Rig and build scaffolding as needed to access high areas safely. * Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools are properly stored after use. * Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and any concerns. *Requirements* * Proven experience in industrial painting or construction painting is preferred. * Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. * Strong skills in caulking and surface preparation techniques. * Familiarity with hand tools used in painting applications. * Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. * Strong communication skills for effective customer service interactions. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.
