We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary.
*Responsibilities*
* Operate forklifts and clamp trucks safely and efficiently to move motorcycles
* Load and unload products from delivery trucks and storage areas.
* Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and order picking.
* Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
* Assist with heavy lifting and order picking as required, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
*Experience*
* Proven experience operating forklifts, including clamp trucks, in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an asset.
* Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order processing are essential.
* Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
* Experience with order picking processes and heavy lifting tasks is highly desirable.
