The Branch provides contract management of the New Brunswick Trunked Mobile Radio (NBTMR) system, the province's P25 Digital Public Safety Grade Radio System. The NBTMR provides mission critical services to various Provincial, Federal, and Municipal stakeholders.What you will do?Reporting to the Client Services Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities:installing, maintaining, operating and programming various types and categories of communications and related equipment throughout the province; inspecting and maintaining the buildings, fences and grounds at government owned tower sites.Work environment:Office location: Moncton Area Standard hours of work: Monday ? Friday. Operational requirements may also require working on weekends, and/or variable hours. We promote a scent-reduced environment. The successful completion of an approved course in electronics technology with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the installation and maintenance of radio communications equipment. You will be required to undergo a criminal record check. Valid Class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.Written and spoken competence in English is required.
