*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in dump trucks, low beds, dump boxes & quad trailers,. with the ability to work with both hand tools and power tools. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality while diagnosing and repairing equipment efficiently.
We are also seeking a HD Mechanic that is very proficient on Caterpillar equipment, repairs as needed and must have a strong mechanical background.
*Duties*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
* Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic equipment and techniques.
* Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
* Conduct electrical system repairs, including wiring, lighting, and battery issues.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
* Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle repairs and parts handling.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
* Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as an Truck Mechanic or similar role in a or repair shop setting.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
* A valid driver's license is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.88-$50.27 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
