Total Horizontal is a full-service Shallow Utility Contractor that specializes in providing safe, efficient, and reliable services to our clients around Western Canada. We are currently hiring for a project in Red Deer.
Increased wages dependent on experience and aptitude. Additional training provided with tenure.
Experienced hands will have:
* Experience working around Utility Construction Equipment
* Valid Class 5 Drivers License
* Smart Phone and data for HSE & QA Systems
* CSTS 2020, fundamentals and modules
* WHMIS 2015
Responsibilities
* Dress for all types of weather
* Follow directions as given, and retain training
* Ability to take measurements
* Proofing ducts & installing cables
* Install subsurface structures
* Backfill and compaction, and site remediation
* Raking, shovelling, carrying
* Driving trucks and trailers
* Operating concrete saws, core drills, jumping jacks, trenchers
* Spotting equipment
* Working with drill crews to prep work
* Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
* Additional duties as job required
Many opportunities for advancement with on the job training in respect to operating Directional Drills & Locators, Skid Steers, Backhoes, Hydrovacs
