* *Level 2 * * Independently performs HVAC maintenance tasks, demonstrating proficiency in routine system inspections and preventive measures. * Participates in and gradually takes on service calls, addressing issues under the guidance of experienced technicians. * Develops diagnostic skills, identifying common problems and troubleshooting basic issues. * Maintains and is responsible for a company vehicle. * *Level 3 - Executes and delivers all level 2 duties proficiently and efficiently* * Enhances troubleshooting skills, identifying and resolving complex issues within refrigeration systems. * Independently replaces components within mechanical systems, showcasing proficiency in hands-on repairs. * *Level 4 - Executes and delivers all level 3 duties proficiently and efficiently * * Specialises in advanced systems, including controls and hydronic systems, gaining expertise in their installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. * Takes on leadership roles in projects, demonstrating the ability to oversee and guide less experienced apprentices. * Engages in continuous learning, staying updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and safety regulations. * *Foreman - Executes and delivers all level 4 duties proficiently and efficiently* * Communicates with clients to understand project requirements, provides updates on project progress, and addresses any client concerns or inquiries. * Mentors and train HVAC mechanics, facilitating their professional development and ensuring they have the necessary skills for their roles. * Acts as the project manager for construction jobs, overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of HVAC projects within budget and schedule constraints.
