*Job Summary*
We are seeking a talented and experienced Line Cookto join our awesome team. Full time position will be working on a rotating schedule 3 days on 3 days off 10-12 hr shifts.Part -time would mostly consist of evenings/weekends and events(4-6 hour shifts, with the possibility of extra shifts occasionally. Must be able to work unsupervised in a fast paced environment assisting in directing prep and dishwashers. A passion for food & plating is a must!
*Duties*
* Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
* Supervise kitchen staff and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food handling practices.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative dishes that meet customer expectations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
* Ensure that all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
* Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding food service with professionalism.
*Skills*
* Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
* Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage kitchen staff.
* Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety practices within the food industry.
* Experience working in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment.
