The Weed Store is looking to add a new manager to our Regina team. As our newest store manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the in-store operations for our existing retail location and will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations as well as leading and growing your leadership team. The Weed Store is looking for a candidate with incredible attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to excellent customer service. You?ll be responsible for training and coaching staff, implementing standard operating procedures, creating a unique in-store experience, maintaining a strictly regulated inventory, analytic sales reporting, scheduling, and driving store revenue.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Encourage a store culture of inclusion, positivity, education, and creativity
* Recruiting and training new team members
* Deliver a high level of consumer engagement and meet sales goals while maintaining and elevating brand reputation
* Monitor guest volume and flow throughout the store and ensure a maximized guest experience; this includes making critical decisions about line management; parking lot operations; and redeployment of staff to manage demand
* Ensure compliance of all company policies and operating procedures as well as maintain a thorough understanding of provincial and federal regulations regarding cannabis
* Responsible for monitoring inventory levels to keep ?out-of-stocks? to minimum and communicating to company buyer
* Use insights/data to make sound business decisions and leverage these metrics to maintain pricing, margins, labour costs and related expenses to meet profitability objectives at a store level
* Responsible for financial and business planning components, including sales and expense planning; labour planning; and monitoring progress against planned targets
* Directly responsible for retail sales annually
Mandatory Requirements:
* 3+ years of leadership experience
* Retail and customer service experience
* Maintain a variable schedule to support customer demand
* Superior communication skills
* Understanding of basic fundamentals of operational management
* Understanding of budget concepts and ability to manage budgets accordingly
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
* Must be comfortable discussing recreational cannabis
* Must have your provincial cannabis training certificate and provide a Criminal Record Check
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $48,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
