*Description: *
The Finance Manager, reporting to the General Manager of the dealership, is an integral part of the business. The Finance Manager works closely with the Sales Manager to establish and meet monthly objectives to ensure maximum profit potential. They must maintain effective communication skills to ensure financial products and services meet the customer?s needs.
*Responsibilities:*
* Maintaining customer satisfaction through clear transparent communication of the finance procedures and processes
* Advise on and sell financing and other financial insurance products (such as extended warranties, accident, and health insurance plans etc.) to customers
* Handle all rate quotes and submit all paperwork to obtain approval from finance sources on all financial deals
* Verify all documents for correct titles, taxes, and lien information
* Ensure accuracy on all paperwork and ensure any issues with the processing of deals for accounting is dealt with in a timely manner
* Have a solid understanding and comprehension of all federal and provincial regulations
* Develop incentives for salespeople to sell insurance and financing in accordance with dealership policies in partnership with the Sales Management team
*Requirements:*
* Minimum 3 years of automotive dealership experience is required
* CDK, Route One and DealerTrack experience a definite asset
* Knowledge of leasing and automotive financing an asset
* Post-Secondary education with a business and/or finance degree an asset but not required
