*Afternoon Shift: Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pm*
*Position Summary:*
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that activities run efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company standards. This role involves supervising warehouse employees, managing inventory, and supporting both administrative and operational functions. *Essential Functions & Responsibilities:*
* Supervise and coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities, including scheduling, task delegation, and team oversight.
* Monitor employee performance and ensure timely and accurate execution of warehouse functions.
* Ensure inventory accuracy and manage inbound and outbound shipments with appropriate documentation.
* Ensure strict adherence to company safety protocols and compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all employees and visitors.
* Promptly inform the Warehouse Manager and Transportation team of any truck delays, missed appointments, or other transportation-related issues.
* Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and machinery to ensure maintenance and operational safety.
* Prepare detailed inventory reports and ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Contribute to the development of a continuous improvement culture, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and reduce waste.
* Provide cross-training and coverage for other warehouse roles as required (e.g. Shipper, Picker, Receiver).
* Train and onboard new warehouse employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Drive warehouse efficiency through quality planning and process improvements.
* Contribute to the development of a continuous improvement culture, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and reduce waste.
* Deliver constructive feedback, conduct safety talks, and performance evaluations.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by management within the scope of the role.

* Understands and works in compliance with the Environmental and Health/Safety management systems, policies, rules, and guidelines.
* Observe standards for safe working conditions as outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
* Takes every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of a worker as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
* Promote and maintain a safe working environment in alignment with company and legislative standards.
* Perform workplace inspections, participate in safety meetings and incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
* Lead by example in following health and safety policies, and actively foster a safety-first mindset within the team.
