*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. * Assist in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring dishes are visually appealing and served promptly. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service during peak hours. * Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. * Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices. * Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new dishes. *Experience* * Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook is preferred. * Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential. * Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools. * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. * A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation.
