VoPay is a leader in digital payment technology, transforming the way businesses handle payments. We?re looking for a skilled and experienced *Accounting Manager* to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in overseeing core financial operations, including payroll, commission calculations, and supporting key financial reporting and analysis.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- *Payroll Management:*
- Oversee and manage the semi-monthly payroll process for all employees, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
- Administer employee benefits, handle payroll deductions, and address any payroll-related questions.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll reporting to senior management.
- *Commission Calculations:*
- Lead the monthly calculation of commissions based on defined sales metrics.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to verify data accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed commission reports for review by the executive team.
- *Financial Reporting and Controller Support:*
- Assist in month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- *General Accounting Duties:*
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations.
- Prepare and present financial reports and insights to senior management.
*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Prior experience working in a payment-related company or the financial technology industry is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in payroll, commission calculations, AP/AR management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and GAAP principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
