<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>General Building Maintenance</strong></p><p>Access Property Development is seeking a Maintenance Associate to join our maintenance team.</p><p>As a team member with the largest Canadian owned self-storage operator with stores nationally, you will be responsible to support the upkeep of our properties to ensure an exceptional impression of our stores to our clients by cleaning and sanitizing buildings, general maintenance, as well as, maintaining exterior curb appeal.</p><p>The ideal candidate is an energetic and highly motivated individual who is detail oriented, flexible, and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.</p><p><strong>What you can expect</strong>: A flexible work schedule, the opportunity to develop your career further, Health Benefits and company discounts on storage and supplies.</p><p><strong>General repairs and clean up may include</strong>;</p><ul><li>some construction and/or maintenance experience in any or all of the following:</li></ul><p>- wood framed and metal building assembly including vestibules, roofs, foundations and forms<br />- anchoring wall items of varying weights and sizes to all building assemblies<br />- modifying and/or making adjustments to doors and windows<br />- installing and removing metal panels, doors, light fixtures, chain link fencing</p><ul><li>some experience with winter and summer grounds service</li><li>snow clearing with skid steerers, plow trucks, and handheld power tools</li><li>good communication and necessary skills to work with the client and maintenance team</li><li>document all activities through pictures, scanning and emailing of documents and/or invoices, bills of lading, etc.</li><li>provide daily and/or weekly status reports on all activities to immediate supervisor</li><li>effectively utilize an online application for repair and maintenance tickets with a mobile phone</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p><ul><li>High school or general education degree</li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in various positions and <span class="long-word">stand/kneel/squat/bend</span> for extended periods.
